This painting depicts the end of Autumn in Snowmass Wilderness in Colorado. Most aspens release their colorful leaves within a few weeks, leaving the bare deciduous trees to be covered in snow in the coming months. It’s a beautiful and fleeting process, coveted by all who know and love Colorado.
